I’ve always known that I enjoy writing, especially when it has a beneficial effect on others. My interest in writing began at a young age, as I read popular novels during my high school years, including those by Chinua Achebe, Things Fall Apart, Shakespeare’s Twelve Nights, and The Marchant of Venice, to name a few. My desire to walk in their footsteps grew as I became enthralled with the way these Nobel laureates changed the world with their writing. I tried, but because of the inadequate supplies and conditions, I lost all of my work. 

But I’ve written about my situation on my blog, Unheard Cries of a Dying Passion, which I strongly recommend you to read when you have some free time.

I am really happy that individuals from all around the world like you are visiting my page. I get greater encouragement and motivation when people read and comment on my work. One of my loves is writing. If it makes a beneficial impact on people I’m happy with it, I’ll choose it even if I don’t get paid for it.

If money wasn’t an issue, I would have also taken up cooking as a career. 

My mum was a skilled food trader. At the time, she was regarded as the best in our town. She goes by Grade One and has specific recipes for everything she cooks. A Name that I have thought about a great deal if i am to go into restaurant business .

   Advisor, even in the absence of funds, this is the third career I could pursue. However I’ve been doing it already because friends and acquaintances have often thanked me for my helpful suggestions and guidance during difficult times, which has enabled folks to get out of difficult situations without requiring payment. Or favours in return.

Igbo Apprenticeship 

I am more proud to be Igbo. My name, Uju Chukwuaku, is imposed upon me as it solely relates to my origins. As a country, we are endowed with a multitude of long-standing traditions and practices, referred to as ōménala igbo*. These include practices in music, visual arts, apprenticeship, dress, cuisine, and language, to name a few. But a small number.

Since they are what made us special without demeaning the others, it’s hard to pick only one. After Igbo traditional marriage, though, one of the cultural legacies and customs of which I am most proud is Igbo apprenticeship.

To put it briefly, 

Igbo Apprenticeship is a custom in which business or company owners take in younger or teenage boys from their close and extended family and train them as apprentices in the business, teaching them the fundamentals of the industry and how it operates while they learn, assist, and run errands both inside and outside the store. A little graduation celebration for the teenage boy who has grown into an adult and improved with knowledge of the business trade would be held once the training’s designated duration of five to seven years had passed. In addition, he would receive a lump sum payment for their services over time, which he would utilise to launch a company of which he would eventually become the owner and retain. Individual success has sprung from this, Because of their success on an individual basis, the Igbo people are now the most prosperous nation in Nigeria. Igbo Apprenticeship has also shown to be the world’s largest platform for business incubators.

*Let your yes be Yes and no be No*

The written message that was hanging on my dad’s door going to his room never really made sense to me as a child. Every time I went into his room as a child, my gaze was fixed on it.**let your yes be Yes and no be No**. I discovered that in circumstances where a simple response is sufficient, I don’t have to repeat myself or use a lot of words. Our father set an example for my brothers and me by always telling the truth, even in the face of difficulty. He gave us this advice on many times. As time goes on and the boy’s fatherhood emerges, I recognise how the crucial inscription has influenced and counselled me. Say yes when you want to and say no when you don’t Realising that when anything is done with honesty, it always turns out the way it should, no matter who or where it ends up. Being sincere and truthful pays off.

Purpose…

Our daily existence depends on energy; the amount we devote to a task and its outcome are both determined by its volume. I ask that we be specific when we discuss energy. For all other energies, genuine energy is a prerequisite. The energy we derive from things like eating food, sleeping/resting, going on trips, etc. is determined by genuine input, for instance. Your level of energy during breakfast is a direct reflection of the energy you expended previously. Put simply, my energy comes from having a mission/purpose.

The energy we possess to succeed in challenging situations stems from our strong sense of resolution and determination in pursuing our goals, coupled with unwavering persistence. Likewise, with the incorrect motivation and goals, a promising scenario could end in failure.When the mind is made up, the flesh has nothing but little options. 

Mindfulness …

We frequently concentrate more on things that break us than ones that heal us, and I know this from having been through a lot as a result of my choices and the circumstances beyond.

Life is what occurs to us in the midst of our other commitments.most of the time as a result of stress-inducing unforeseen circumstances. We hardly even notice our surroundings or our state. Moreover, the stress of guaranteeing an ideal future and a luxurious life of luxury rides our happiness to the bone. Many are hence despondent, mentally unwell, experiences heart problems, or worse, passes away. It would be fantastic to teach people more about the condition of their mental health and the significance of attaining it by emphasising present-moment awareness while also boldly stating their ideas and feelings. Even in times when pressure from the past and future is at its highest, people should be taught the value of living in the moment and appreciating it.mindfulness is a virtue We all should practice or better say have.

Honestly, I love music, especially in my emotional highs and lows, for I understand the lyrics better, With the volume tuned down, I could dance around in happiness or as well cry under my blanket of bitterness. However, my life would likely have turned out the same because I seldom listen to music and am not up to date with new songs. I could stay quite a longer period without listening to One. When I hear people say they cannot go a day without music, I ask myself if I am normal because I am opposite. As an introvert, I prefer and  love the tranquillity of my environment, which I enjoy the most. Which is not to say I do not enjoy the good rhythm of music and its allures.

I eagerly anticipate my holidays every year. However, the length and season determine how they are spent. Generally, I prefer spending holidays—both short and long—with my family, depending on the time of year. I will never forget the December trip I took to see my parents back home and the happiness on their faces at my arrival.Long holidays enable me to visit my extended relatives, while short ones are exclusively spent with my immediate family indoors and outdoors.

Patience .Had I known the remarks of my father to me . I told myself that after many years I could have waited a little bit longer, but the stress of moving to the city wouldn’t let me. Even before I took my last secondary school exams, I knew I wanted to move to the city to get away from my parents’ influence and get into a university before my friends. My parents and siblings both urged me to hold off on moving a little while longer, but their advice was ignored. My experiences in the city upon arriving and during my whole stay were nothing but regret to this date. Which always reminds me of my father’s words,  *had I known is always a brother to Mr. Late.

Leadership qualities are not traits one conveys to oneself; they’re characteristics exhibited through character and decisions in every given circumstance. Many will not hesitate to say they have such qualities until the conditions arise. The ability to set direction to help oneself and others do what is right and move forward is not common. Then I asked myself! Do I have leadership qualities? It’s not in my position to rate myself, but rather by examples and the words of people around me at work and home. Because our true mirrors are not ones that reflect our images in our bedroom rather than our thoughts, ,beliefs, and behaviours in everyday dealings in life. With this, I may not be wrong to admit I have leadership qualities ( I wrote this while a break period at work).
