How have your political views changed over time?
Only few understands the term service
I was always interested in the policies of the governments that were in power at the time because, as a young person, I was not just hopeful about my political beliefs but also about how I might best help to improve my society. My favourite subject in secondary school was government, which I found enjoyable. The foundations established by the big nations’ founding fathers piqued my curiosity much. their names’ inherent charm as well as their prior contributions. As a result, I intended to pursue foreign studies at university, but I had no idea that my goal would never come true. A legacy endures forever. As a child who strives for excellence, I attempted to comprehend the significance of government, the reasons for its structure, and why everyone must adhere to it.

However, I became puzzled because the definitions and methods of practice contained in our study books and constitutions, as well as those espoused by political parties, are diametrically opposed. Especially when they say democracy is “government of, by, and for the people.” Since the government that advocates for human rights denies people their fundamental rights. Politicians that advocate for freedom of speech stifle activists. I became disinterested in politics. when government institutions operated against the people they were supposed to serve and society was unable to hold elected officials accountable for breaching the law. I lost interest in governance. My opinions could change, though, if our politicians realise that being a leader entails serving others and are held responsible for their mistakes, just like everyone else in that society.
